Food and Beverage Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will work closely with the Manager of Old Yellowstone Garage on all food and beverage services provided at the property. This includes operations associated with all restaurants, bars and lounges, banqueting, room service, and in-suite catering.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Manage all operations associated with Caldera House’s in-house food and beverage programs in conjunction with the designated management team

•Coordinate with kitchen staff on the quality, presentation, and efficient flow of food products and service

•Ensure Alpine lounge operations meet the needs of the Club during the winter months

•Manage a room service program in conjunction with the needs of a luxury hotel property

•Manage event execution, and associated aspects of the events/catering business. This includes in-suite catering for hotel guests, requests for our in-house Club department, private events in our Alpine Lounge, Gallery, or any other space located on or off property

•Inventory management 

•Service standards should strike balance between the unique culture of Jackson Hole and luxury hospitality

•Attention to detail is key

•Table service/etiquette

•Cleanliness of guest facing spaces

•Decor, lighting, music, and vibe

•Uniform/dress code of staff

•Establish and maintain a system of effective communication with all employees and departments to ensure they are aware and prepared for daily activities and special events

•Play active role in identifying challenges facing the organization and present constructive solutions to help lead the organization forward

Education, Experience & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

2 years related experience required 

Basic knowledge of wine, food and cooking methods

ServSafe certification an asset
